Let’s read the story about a little witch girl, Williwu who learns
about the power of friendship along the way.
It was Halloween, and all the witches were getting ready to party on the
moon. Williwu was a little witch girl, and she was very excited about
celebrating with little witches from different parts of the world.
She ran to the closet to
check if her broom was
ready to take her on the
long flight to the moon.
But when she opened
the closet, hundreds of
mice scampered out!
They had eaten all the
branches of the broom!
With a broom in such
poor condition, she
couldn’t even fly as high
as the rooftop! Williwu
Halloween — a festival celebrated mainly in the US on October 31st every
year, where people (especially children) dress up in funny or scary costumes;
closet — a cupboard; scampered — moved quickly with short, light steps
