Pronouns
Read the sentences.
Trees are the kindest things I know, They do not harm, they simply grow.
We use words like I, he, she, we, you, they and it in place of naming words
(nouns). Words that are used in place of nouns are called pronouns.
Pronouns can be used for both singular and plural nouns.

A. Fill in the blanks with correct pronouns.

B. Form pairs. One student will look around and describe any object or person
using pronouns only. Do not mention the name of the object or person. The
other student will guess the name of the object or person. Each team gets
five minutes to play the game. You will get a point for every correct answer.
The student with the highest number of correct answers wins!

1. I see it in the garden. 2. It has many leaves.
3. It gives us fresh air.
