The highlighted words since, for, because, and as are used to join phrases or
sentences. These words are called joining words or conjunctions. They are used
to show the reason for an action.
A. Join the sentences using the conjunctions given in the brackets.
1. Pareeniti must not burn rubbish at home. It will pollute the air. (because)
2. She is giving her old clothes away. She doesn’t fit into them any more.

3. Children make something from these boxes. They are so colourful.
