                                                      Causative Verbs

            Causative verbs are verbs that show the cause of a particular action or event. They are used to
            express that someone or something is responsible for causing a certain action.

            In English, the most common causative verbs are ‘‘make,’’ ‘‘have,’’ and ‘‘let,’’ and “get”.

            These verbs follow an irregular pattern when they have the meaning of causing someone to do
