How can a crane lift very heavy things ?
To lift heavy things a crane has pulleys and gears.
Only a little power is used by it.
Heavy crane
Air crane
A wheel and a rope make a pulley. It makes
an easier job of lifting heavy things.
It is not easy to lift by hand.
It can be lifted more easily if a pulley is used.
If two pulleyes are used it is very easy to lift
the same load.
