Output Devices

Parts used to show us the results like text, pictures, or sound from the

computer.

Examples:

Monitor, Printer, Speakers, Headphones

UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply)

A UPS keeps the computer working for some time even after
the electricity goes off.

Storage Devices

Computers also use storage devices to save information permanently.

Floppy Disk – Square in shape, stores very little data.

Hard Disk – Looks like a small box, fixed inside the CPU. It stores a large

amount of data.

CD (Compact Disc) – Round in shape, stores more than a floppy disk.

DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) – Stores more information than a CD.

Pen Drive (Flash Drive) – Small, easy to carry, fits in a pocket.
