Main Parts of Computer
A computer has four main parts. They are Monitor, CPU (Central Processing
Unit), Keyboard, Mouse. Together, these parts make up the computer
system. They are usually connected by wires.
Monitor
Monitor is also called Visual Display Unit (VDU). It
looks like a television screen. It displays text , pictures,
videos, and cartoons.
CPU (Central Processing Unit)
The CPU cabinet contains the CPU. The CPU is known as
the brain of the computer. It controls all other parts like
the monitor, mouse, and keyboard.
All parts are connected to the CPU through wires.
Keyboard
A keyboard is used to give information
to the computer.It has many keys which
are used to type letters, numbers, and
symbols.The typed information can be
seen on the monitor.
