A keyboard is like your pencil. It is used to type on a computer. It is one
of the most important parts of the computer. Without a keyboard, you

cannot type anything.

Just as you use pencils, pens, and colours to write or draw on paper, in the

same way you use a keyboard to type letters, numbers, and symbols on a

computer.

A keyboard has small buttons on it called keys. Each key has a different

function. When you press a key, the action is called typing.
