4. A sentence that gives advice or an order, or makes a request is called
an imperative sentence. The subject you is not usually mentioned in an
imperative sentence.
A. Read the sentences and write Exclamatory, Assertive, Imperative and
Interrogative against each.
1. Set your bed on your own.
2. Please close the door.
3. Which is the highest peak in India?
4. The planets move around the sun.
5. How beautiful the room looks!
Sometimes the exclamatory sentence is made up of just one or two words
that express a strong feeling. These words are called interjections.
