Work with a partner and come up with a list of words and phrases you could use to describe
the tree in spring. Then come up with a list of words and phrases that you could use to
describe the tree in winter. Which words and phrases could be used for both?
You could use the work you and your classmates have done to create a wall display of all
your descriptive words and phrases.
