and was safer to use.
How did it change the world?
Now, we can turn on a light whenever we need it—
whether it’s day or night! The light bulb helped make
homes brighter and workplaces safer.
2. The Telephone
The telephone allows people to talk to each other
over long distances. Before phones, people could
only communicate face-to-face or by writing letters.
How did it change the world?
It made it possible to call anyone from anywhere in
the world! We now use phones for talking, texting,
and even video chatting!
3. The Internet
The internet is a network that connects millions
of computers and smartphones around the world.
Tim Berners-Lee created the World Wide Web,
which is a way to share information online.
How did it change the world?
The internet connects us to knowledge,
entertainment, and people everywhere. It’s how
we learn, shop, play games, and even make
friends from other countries!
