promote physical activity, healthy eating, and lifestyle
changes.

Clean Ganga Mission

(Namami Gange)
Launched: May 2014
Objective: To clean and rejuvenate
the River Ganga by treating sewage,
promoting afforestation along
the riverbanks, and ensuring the
conservation of the river.
Key Activities: Cleaning the Ganga,
creating sewage treatment plants, and
improving water quality.

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY)
Launched: June 2015

Objective: To provide affordable housing to the economically
weaker sections and promote the construction of affordable
homes.

Key Activities: Providing financial assistance for home
construction and promoting affordable housing projects across
urban and rural areas.

environmental development, focusing on improving the quality
of life for its citizens.
