Exciting and Safe Science Experiments that Children can do at Home:

            1. Invisible Ink

Materials: Lemon juice, A cotton swab or brush, White
paper, A heat source (like a lamp or light bulb)

               Instructions:

               1. Dip the cotton swab or brush in lemon juice and
write a message on the paper.

               2. Allow the juice to dry completely.
               3. To reveal the message, hold the paper close to a
                   heat source.

Explanation: The heat causes the lemon juice to oxidize
and turn brown, revealing the hidden message.

                                                      2. Volcano Eruption

Materials: Baking soda, Vinegar, Red food coloring
(optional), Dish soap (optional), A small container or bottle,
A tray or dish to contain spills
                                                      Instructions:

                                                      1. Place the small container on the tray.
                                                      2. Add baking soda to the container.

                                                      3. If using, mix a few drops of red food coloring and dish
                                                           soap with the vinegar.
                                                      4. Pour the vinegar mixture into the container with baking
                                                           soda and watch the eruption!

Explanation: The reaction between baking soda (a base) and
vinegar (an acid) creates carbon dioxide gas, which causes
                                                      the bubbling effect.
