13 The Stick

A story that teaches us about kindness, the right way to
help, and finding our true purpose.
A stick is walking along a road–click, clack, clunk! It
meets a frog.
‘‘Hello, hello!’’ says the stick. ‘‘Do you need me,
frog so
green?’’
‘‘Croak, croak. No, no,
no,’’ says the frog and hops
away.
Then, the stick meets a rabbit.
‘‘Hello, hello!’’ says the stick.
‘‘Do you need me, rabbit so bouncy?’’
‘‘Yes, yes, yes,’’ says the rabbit.
He takes the stick and starts
chewing it.
