13. The Stick

One day, an ant went to the river to drink water (Picture 2). Suddenly,

it slipped and fell into the river (Picture 5). A kind dove saw the ant

struggling and dropped a leaf into the water to help (Picture 3). The

ant climbed onto the leaf and was saved (Picture 6). Later, a hunter

came and aimed his bow at the dove (Picture 4). The ant saw this

and bit the hunter’s foot (Picture 1). The hunter missed his shot,

and the dove flew away safely (Picture 1).
