4. The Airplane

The airplane is a flying machine that allows
people to travel long distances in a short amount
of time. Before airplanes, people had to travel
                  by ship, horse, or train.

How did it change the world?

It made it easier for people to travel around the
world. It also helped connect different parts of
the world through trade and tourism!

                                                       5. The Computer

The computer is a machine that can store and
process information. Charles Babbage is often
called the “father of the computer” because he
                                                       designed the first mechanical computer.

How did it change the world?
Computers help us solve problems, play games,
write stories, and connect with others. They are
used in almost every part of our daily lives, from
                                                       school to work to entertainment.

                8. Vaccines

from harmful diseases. Edward Jenner invented
                the first smallpox vaccine.

How did it change the world?

Vaccines have saved millions of lives by
                preventing dangerous diseases. They help
people to stay healthy, especially children.
