Rainbow

A story about a boy who knows about rainbow and its colours.
One day, there was a frightening
storm. The sky was dark, the wind
howled, and the rain poured
down heavily. Then the rain
stopped, the sun shone brightly.
Rohan, who was in the house,
was waiting to go outside to play.
When the rain stopped, Rohan
looked out of the window to make sure.
He saw a big arc of colours at the bottom of the garden. It was
almost touching the ground. There was a band of red, then orange,
then yellow, then green, then blue, then indigo and, last of all, violet
colour.
Rohan counted the colours: ‘One, two, three, four, five, six, seven.’
He was very pleased.
‘‘What beautiful colours! And they are touching the ground!’’ Rohan
said to himself, ‘‘I am going to fill my watercolour box with these
pretty colours!’’
