never betray each other and will always support one another.

Damon, Pythias : two young men, also good friends

Dionysius: the king

Narrator

Soldiers : 1, 2, 3

Narrator: Many, many years ago, there were two close friends, Damon

and Pythias. They were ready to do anything for each other.

Dionysius, the King, was cruel

and heartless. No
one ever dared

to speak against

him for fear of

punishment.

Only Damon and

Pythias were

brave enough to

speak the truth.
