your gift?’’ he asked accusingly. ‘‘After all, she too knows that you don’t get
any pocket money.’’
Somya was relieved now. She could give her mother the card after all. And
the next morning, when she woke up, she went straight to her mother and
hugged her as she gave her the card.
Her mother exclaimed with delight when she saw the beautiful card. Now,
Somya was sure that her Mother’s Day gift was a very good one indeed.
