Features of a Mouse


            Mouse Pointer

            Dragging a Mouse

            Clicking  and  holding  the  left  button  while  moving  the  mouse  is  called

            dragging. We can drag the mouse to move the object from one place to
            another on a computer screen. We can also drag the mouse to draw shapes

            and pictures.

            Dropping a Mouse


            'Dropping' means releasing the mouse button to put the thing down in a
            new place.

            To drag and drop an icon, follow the given steps:

            Step 1: Place the mouse pointer on the object you want to drag on the

            screen.

            Step 2: Click the left button of the mouse. Hold the button pressed and

            move the mouse. You will see that the object moves along with the pointer.

            Step: 3 Drag the object and then release the left button on the spot where

            the object is to be placed. Now the icon has been placed in a new location.

                         Always use the mouse on a flat mouse pad. It helps it work better.
