Title Bar
The title bar is located at the very top of the Word window. It displays the name of
the currently opened document along with the program name (e.g., Document1 –
Word). On the right side, it also includes buttons to minimize, maximize, or close the
window.
Quick Access Toolbar
This toolbar is found at the top-left corner of
the screen, either above or below the Ribbon. It Microsoft Word was first
provides easy access to commonly used commands released in 1983, over 40 years
like Save, Undo, and Redo. Users can customize it ago and it was originally called
by adding their favorite tools for faster access. “Multi-Tool Word.”
Ribbon
The Ribbon is the central command area located below the Title Bar. It contains
multiple tabs such as Home, Insert, Design, Layout, etc. Each tab includes groups
of related tools and commands, making it easier to format and edit documents
efficiently.
Document Area
The document area is the large white space in the center of the screen where you
type and edit your content. This is the main workspace in Word and displays your
text, images, tables, and other elements of your document.
Scroll Bars
Scroll bars are found on the right (vertical) and bottom (horizontal) sides of the Word
window. They allow you to move through the document if the content is too long or
wide to fit on the screen.
Status Bar
Located at the bottom of the Word window, the status bar displays information such
as page number, word count, language, and spell check status. It also includes view
buttons and the zoom slider for easy navigation and document viewing.
File Tab (Backstage View)
The File tab, located at the far left of the Ribbon, opens the Backstage View. This
