Position Words
Read the following sentences :
1. Swami and Sajan lived in the village.
2. They climbed on the trees.
3. They rested under a Jamun tree.
Some words like in, on, under, behind, above, below, and beside tell you
where something or someone is. These words are position words. Position
words are called prepositions.
A. Write in, on or under to complete the sentences :
1. The pen is the pocket.
2. The giraffe is the tree.
3. The child is the tub.
4. The lamp is the table.
5. There is a painting the wall.
6. The car is the bridge.
