Steps to Insert a Footer
1. Go to the Insert Tab on the Ribbon.
2. In the Header & Footer group, click on Footer.
3. A drop-down list with different footer styles will appear.
4. Select a Footer style you like.
5. The Footer area will open at the bottom of the page.
6. Type the text you want to appear in the footer (like page number, name, or date).
7. After finishing, click on Close Header and Footer in the Ribbon or press Esc on the
keyboard.
Inserting Tables in Word
In MS Word, tables are a useful tool for organizing information. They are extremely flexible,
easy to create, and simple to manipulate. A table helps to arrange data into horizontal
rows and vertical columns, which intersect to form cells.
You can insert different types

of these tables and then replace the sample text with your own data.
3. Customized Table - You can also draw a customized table by manually controlling how
the rows and columns should appear.

A blank table means you create a table with rows and columns of your choice, and then
type data into it.
